Well, its good to hear. I'm hoping to get a chance to speak in person again, though I'm not sure if you wish to see me so soon, I how ever would want to set up another date... [ edit made ] session. Simply something. Perhaps a hobby inquiry. Or a talk on your emotional well being and interpersonal relationships.
[ Oh no. Focus on his own hang ups. Abort. Diverge. Abandon ship.
Luckily Rung is able to calmly respond and not launch himself out an air lock. ]
Well, usually when people argue there is a set of time one party might not wish to see the other. I was worried you would want to wait longer before you saw me again. But since that is not an issue. I think we can set up a time at [Date and Time on another day.]
oku mmm itll be easier forme 2 just list his bastard crimes
liberal use of nudge gun on autobots manipulation + gaslighting + all the bad mental stuff successful murder x many mutiny (most of the crew took part in this tho) turned people in2 sparkeaters somehow generally just bein terrible
[ it takes several seconds before typing, erasing, typing again his general consensus on the subject. ]
I have alot to not look forward to it seems. I feel some what speechless on anything more I could add here, he was.. so close on the ship. I can understand why you would abhor him.
[ A brief wondering if there could of been anything to stop it. but for someone to get better they have to want to be better... ]
I suppose its not something I can stop I have no idea if I'll retain my knowledge if I ever return... but please promise not to mutiny this ship if it ever comes to it.... That was a joke, but also I might take a moment to adjust to this knowledge. Thank you Riptide. Even if my processor hurts now.
Is Rung growing ever too attached to his patients again? He's not sure, but here Rung stands outside Riptide's door. Debating if he should knock and ask if Riptide would like to take the time to help him with errands.
That's a bit strange to do? But Rung can't help it, after all Riptide is easy to get along with.
He stands there and scrolls down his list of things to be done and then knocks at the door.
"Riptide, it's me Rung. No, it's not a missed session, I simply thought we could run a few errands together."
Riptide sticks his head out the door a moment, later, tilting it down at Rung. His optics shutter a few times as he considers this.
"Sure, why not? I'm not doing anything else." Slipping out, he closes the door behind him. "Just don't trick me into a session, or anything. I'm starting to understand Whirl on that."
"Nothing of the sort, think of it as a peer adventure." Rung states with a flick of a finger to the air. "We can simply do some little run-abouts and pick up some snacks, maybe a bit more Tar Thinnings. I'm running low and I thought perhaps you'd want me to pick up something or to come with."
He turns and steps down the halls. "I made a small order of energon goods from the vehicon staffed kitchen. I'm also needing to step by the bridge to pick up another datapad... and if there's anything you're needing we can do that too."
It feels like a nice normal moment. If not for that itch in the back of his head that says this easily could of been done with the smaller Ratchet.
"I sure can carry stuff to places, so you've made the right choice here," Riptide says, seemingly cheering up a bit now that he's understanding better what they're doing together. "I don't think I have much to do, but I guess we can swing by the maintenance office and see if there's any pipes need unclogging."
He walks slowly to keep pace with Rung, considering the impressive difference in leg length.
"There's barely anything to do on here, I feel. Way more on the Lost Light."
"It is rather mundane, but the mundane has its charms. At least we have plenty to keep ourselves afloat and survive out here." Rung states and chuckles. "Being here for about a stellar really puts one in perspective of it all I think. I miss our noisy crew, but I've grown fond of this one too."
"I guess? And-- I don't know. How does math work? Is it enough if there could be like five hundred people through the space bridge at any time? Do we have enough to really buckle down if we need to spend a couple of centuries in the ship in deep space? What if someone blows up all the energon?"
Riptide shrugs languidly. "I prefer the Lost Light to this one, honestly. I mean, I like the people I've met here but it's just..."
He falls silent for a time, long enough that Rung would be forgiven to think he's dropped the subject entirely.
"Fine to not know. It's quite a wobbly situation." Rung sighs and nods. "You bring up a very important point. Though perhaps its something we can put down for a day before deciding to worry that deeply on it."
Then a shift in his steps. "The Lost Light's energy is very hard to replicate. I don't think one could replicate even if we had the entire crew." A gentle hand taps Riptide's arm.
"Now, I suppose we can save all those thoughts for another time. And I will thank you again for the company for this trip round. Its nice being near crew mates who know me." Even if that 'know' is fickle.
"Or not at all," he decides on. Yes. This is a good thing to say to your therapist; that your problems don't exist if you don't think about them. "We're missing about five hundred people in the crew, for one. Though I don't know how it would be if there were literally five hundred other universes bopping about. It's already insufferable with... ten or whatever we have."
He's happy to drop the topic, though, keeping on clomping next to Rung.
"Nooooo problem. Hey, you're not a bad guy to hang out with, anyway. I know I'm not gonna end up in jail if I go somewhere with you!"
